SOCCER, ART & EXPLORE SUMMER CAMP

Your child will spend the summer playing soccer, creating art, and discovering the world around them. Every day has a theme, a new adventure, and something to make and take home.

Soccer, Art & Explore is DC Way’s most unique camp. Kids play soccer in the morning, walk to a historic site on Capitol Hill in the afternoon, then draw or write about what they discovered. It’s movement, creativity, and exploration mixed together.

What To Bring:

Start Each Day with Soccer

Every morning starts with soccer on Stuart-Hobson’s beautiful turf fields. Kids work on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control through fun drills and small-sided games where everyone gets lots of touches.

We connect soccer to the day’s exploration theme whenever we can. The focus is on having fun, improving skills, and playing together.

Whether your child is new to soccer or already loves the game, they’ll spend every morning moving, laughing, and scoring goals before heading out to explore the neighborhood.

Play. Create. Discover.

Stuart-Hobson’s Capitol Hill location puts us right in the heart of DC history. Everything we explore is within walking distance. No buses, no long commutes.

Kids discover monuments, architecture, public art, green spaces, and the stories behind the streets they walk every day. Every outing is supervised, groups stay small, and we keep it engaging with questions, challenges, and discoveries along the way.

Back at camp, the exploration continues in the art room. Kids turn what they’ve seen and learned into something they’ve made. Every day’s adventure has a creative landing point, and they go home with something to show for it.
