Your child will spend the summer playing soccer, creating art, and celebrating the 2026 FIFA World Cup! Each week focuses on a different country, from painting the Statue of Liberty for Team USA to creating colorful parrots for Argentina. Campers work on soccer skills, make art projects they’ll be proud of, and learn about cultures from around the world.

Art Classes: Art & Soccer Camps are priced higher because of what’s included: classroom rental for art time and all the supplies kids need for their projects each week.

Youth Leadership Programs: Looking for a leadership experience for older kids? We offer CIT (ages 12-13) and Junior Assistant (ages 14-18) positions during camp! Teens gain hands-on work experience, earn volunteer hours for school, and develop leadership skills while helping with camp activities. Weekly Themes – A New Country Every Week!

What To Bring:

Week 1: USA – Home Team Pride

We’re starting summer by celebrating the host nation! Kids will paint the Statue of Liberty, create American eagles in flight, and design stars-and-stripes soccer balls. On the field, they’ll learn moves from USMNT and USWNT players and compete in Red, White & Blue team challenges. It’s all about hometown pride and showing what American soccer is made of.

Week 2: Mexico – Color, Culture & Goals

Get ready for vibrant colors and big energy! Campers will paint bright sombreros, create colorful cacti art, and draw colorful alebrije creatures. Soccer-wise, we’ll learn skills inspired by Mexican legends and play fast-paced games with mariachi music in the background. This week is loud, colorful, and full of life.

Week 3: Canada – Maple Leaves & Mighty Kicks

Head north for Canada week! Kids will paint the CN Tower, create their own maple leaf designs, and draw majestic moose and grizzly bears. On the field, they’ll practice precision passing like Canadian stars and compete in “Coast to Coast” challenges. It’s a week of creativity, nature, and strong soccer fundamentals.

Week 4: Spain – Bulls, Beaches & Beautiful Play

Spain brings the heat! Campers will paint charging bulls, design colorful flamenco fans, and create mosaics inspired by Gaudí’s architecture. Soccer sessions focus on tiki-taka passing and technical footwork – the Spanish style of beautiful, flowing soccer. Olé!

Week 5: England – Royalty on the Pitch

Welcome to England! Kids will paint Big Ben and red double-decker buses, design royal crowns, and create English bulldogs with soccer scarves. On the field, they’ll learn classic English football skills and compete in “Premier League” style matches. It’s a proper good time, as they say across the pond.

Week 6: Uruguay – Champions of Heart & Hustle

Uruguay has won two World Cups and shows incredible fighting spirit! Campers will paint capybaras (the world’s largest rodent found in Uruguay!), create sun designs inspired by their flag, and draw the historic Montevideo coastline. Soccer-wise, we’ll celebrate their incredible World Cup history and practice the garra charrúa – the fighting spirit Uruguay is famous for.

Week 7: France – Art, Elegance & Excellence

Bonjour! This week is all about French flair. Kids will paint the Eiffel Tower, create colorful berets, and design their own versions of famous French art. On the soccer field, they’ll learn elegant skills and fancy footwork inspired by French legends. C’est magnifique!

Week 8: Italy – Renaissance Creativity Meets Soccer Passion

Italy week combines art history with soccer excitement! Campers will create colorful Venetian masks, paint the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and design their own soccer jersey. Soccer sessions focus on Italian defensive tactics and passionate play. Plus, we’ll learn a few Italian soccer phrases – Forza!

Week 9: Argentina – Mountains, Magic & Messi

Feel the passion of Argentine soccer! Kids will paint colorful parrots, create mountain landscapes inspired by the Andes, and draw the stunning Iguazu Falls. On the field, they’ll practice the creative, magical style of play Argentina is famous for – just like Messi! This week celebrates flair, emotion, and the love of the beautiful game.

Week 10: Brazil – Carnival of Soccer

End the summer with Brazil’s incredible energy! Campers will paint sloths, toucans, and jaguars from the Amazon rainforest, create carnival masks bursting with color, and design their own Copacabana beach scenes. Soccer sessions are all about samba style – creativity, rhythm, and pure joy on the ball. It’s the perfect party to close out an unforgettable summer!

Who are the coaches and teachers?

All DC Way coaches and teachers are background-checked, First Aid trained, and experienced working with children. Our soccer coaches are licensed and passionate about the game, while our art and activity teachers are talented professionals who know how to engage kids creatively. They all create a positive environment where every child feels supported. We’re proud of our team – they’re the reason families keep coming back.

What should my child bring and wear?

All players should bring a water bottle, shin guards, sneakers, cleats, a hat, sunblock, snacks, and lunch (for full-day campers). Players younger than 6 years should wear tennis or athletic shoes (cleats are not needed).

Each camper needs two pairs of shoes: one for indoor use and one for outdoor activities.

We recommend applying sunscreen and bug spray at home in the morning. Staff will help reapply sunscreen in the afternoon.

Please note: We are an electronics-free camp. Cell phones, tablets, and smart watches should be left at home.
