Fun, Learning, and Growth: The DC Way Approach

We aim to cover all aspects of children’s development including physical, social-emotional, cognition, and communication. Our qualified coaches use a distinctive, fun, and high-energy approach to teaching all children the fundamentals of soccer! With a focus on cooperation and team-building, we aim to encourage each child to learn, socialize, and mature at their own pace.

At DC Way, we focus on teaching life skills one can learn from sports, such as emotional intelligence, responsibility, healthy habits, honesty, caring, and self-confidence. In addition to these essential motor and life skills, we put our main focus into initially developing soccer skills. Within these skills, we aim to improve players’ decision-making, vision, anticipation, and basic technical moves. By teaching these critical skills, we are building a foundation for our players to continually progress as both soccer players and people.

More Than Soccer: Developing Skills for Life

At Kids Academy, we go beyond the ball to enhance your child’s overall development. In addition to soccer skills, our experienced coaches incorporate exercises without a ball to focus on key aspects of their growth. Our sessions improve agility, speed, balance, and teamwork; as well as promote cooperation, problem-solving, and learning at their own pace.

We also encourage creativity and confidence, helping each child discover their unique strengths both on and off the field. With every session, your child will develop important life skills, form lasting friendships, and build a love for the game!
