Camp Details

Dates: October 9, 10; November 3

Grades: Pre-K3 – 5th grade

  • Please note: Children ages 3–4 must be potty-trained and able to follow simple directions to participate.
  • We also ask families to pack an extra set of clothes (and pull-ups if needed) for younger campers, just in case of accidents.

Time: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (drop-off begins at 8:30 am)

Location: Seaton Elementary School

What To Bring: Water bottle, shin guards, soccer ball, lunch, snacks, indoor shoes, and sneakers

Activities: Soccer + Art & Creativity classes

Art Classes: We collaborate with Gagarin Art Studio to offer exciting art classes that inspire creativity and allow kids to explore their artistic side while having fun!

What To Bring:

October 9: Pelé & Mia Hamm – Honoring Soccer Legends of the Past

First Art Class: Soccer Star Trading Cards

Campers will design trading cards featuring Pelé (Brazil) and Mia Hamm (United States), highlighting their careers with creative stats, jerseys, and iconic moments.

Second Art Class: Animal Sculpture

Children will sculpt a Toucan (Brazil) and a Bald Eagle (United States) using Model Magic clay, focusing on their unique features and bright colors.

October 10: Diego Maradona & Sun Wen – Honoring Soccer Legends of the Past

First Art Class: Iconic Game Moments Collage

Campers will create a mixed-media collage using paper, markers, and magazine cutouts to illustrate famous plays by Diego Maradona (Argentina) and Sun Wen (China).

Second Art Class: Country Symbols Painting

Children will paint symbols representing Argentina (like a soccer ball and sun) and China (like a dragon and cherry blossoms) on canvas boards.

November 3: Zinedine Zidane & Christine Sinclair – Leadership & Legacy

First Art Class: Mosaic Soccer Ball 
Campers will design a mosaic soccer ball, inspired by Zidane’s French-Algerian heritage. Using acrylic paints and sharpies, they’ll create a bold, intricate pattern that reflects soccer’s global influence.

Second Art Class: Wildlife of Canada – Wolf Drawing 
Campers will paint a majestic Canadian wolf, using acrylic paints to master blending techniques for realistic fur textures. Sharpies will add details to highlight the wolf’s striking features.

Camp Information

  • DC Way is committed to providing a safe, structured, and positive environment for every player, both on and off the field.

  • All DC Way coaches are certified, background-checked, and trained in First Aid, with years of experience working with children.
  • Each player is expected to bring their own water bottle, snack, and other belongings.

What do we offer at the Seaton Art & Soccer Day Camp?

Our camp combines soccer, creativity, and cultural discovery in a fun, full-day experience. Each day is inspired by a soccer legend, blending engaging soccer drills and games with themed art projects and activities. Campers not only build skills on the field but also explore global cultures and teamwork — making every day exciting, creative, and unforgettable.

Who can participate?

Our camp is open to children in Pre-K3 through 5th grade.

Who are the coaches?

The DC Way coaches are a group of amazing men and women who have obtained a professional license to coach. We are truly proud to say that every member of our staff has exceptional personality traits and coaching skills such as a positive approach to coaching, honesty and fairness with players, a love for the game, a passion for teaching and instructing, and extensive knowledge of games, activities, and skills to develop players.

All of the DC Way coaches are certified soccer coaches with extensive experience working with children. Our coaches have all passed mandatory background checks, have at least two years of experience working with children, and have received First Aid training.

One Day Camp Fee:

  • Full Day (9-3 pm): $110
