Kids will work on footwork, dribbling moves, and goal-scoring techniques inspired by legends like Pelé, Marta, Ronaldinho, Formiga, and Ronaldo. Between soccer sessions, campers explore Brazilian culture through activities, games, and traditions. It’s soccer, culture, and fun all summer long at Gallaudet University’s top-quality turf fields.

Dates: Week 1: June 15-19 | Week 2: June 22-26

Time: 8 am – 5:30 pm (before and after care available)

Ages: Boys and Girls 3-12 years old

  • For our youngest campers (ages 3-4), we ask that they be potty trained and comfortable following simple directions.

Thursday: Master Brazilian-style moves – overlapping runs, diagonal cuts, and 1v1 skills.

Friday: Compete in team tournaments, celebrate the week’s progress, and enjoy prizes and a water fight!

What do we offer at Brazilian Way Camp?

Brazilian Way Camp offers authentic soccer training from experienced Brazilian coaches. Who are the coaches and teachers?

All DC Way coaches and teachers are background-checked, First Aid trained, and experienced working with children. Our soccer coaches are licensed and passionate about the game, while our art and activity teachers are talented professionals who know how to engage kids creatively. They all create a positive environment where every child feels supported. We’re proud of our team – they’re the reason families keep coming back.

What are the benefits?

Your child will improve their soccer skills while learning creativity and self-expression on the field. They’ll build confidence, make new friends, and experience a different culture through soccer. The Brazilian style emphasizes joy, teamwork, and individual flair – skills that help both on and off the field. Plus, they’ll stay active all day and come home tired but happy.

What should my child bring and wear?

All players should bring a water bottle, shin guards, sneakers, cleats, a hat, sunblock, snacks, and lunch (for full-day campers). Players younger than 6 years should wear tennis or athletic shoes (cleats are not needed).

We recommend applying sunscreen and bug spray at home in the morning. Staff will help reapply sunscreen in the afternoon.

Please note: We are an electronics-free camp. Cell phones, tablets, and smart watches should be left at home.
