As July winds down and August approaches, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible energy, creativity, and growth we’ve seen across our Summer Camps. Whether your child was channeling their inner artist during Art & Soccer weeks, showing flair at Brazilian Way Camp, or running through water relays and World Cup tournaments — one thing was clear: they’re loving the game.
But soccer doesn’t stop when the summer ends — and neither do we. At DC Way, our goal is to guide players through a year-round journey where fun meets development at every step. Fall brings a fresh opportunity to build on all that summer momentum, and we’ve got something for every age and level.
Here’s how we keep the magic going:
Capitol Hill Fall League – For preschoolers through 2nd graders, this Saturday league is packed with real matches, real teams, and tons of excitement. We focus on fun, teamwork, and building confidence in a positive, supportive environment.
Kids Academy (Soccer + Multi-Sport) – This is perfect for younger players who thrive with variety. Choose between Soccer or Multi-Sport sessions designed to develop coordination, agility, and confidence — all while having fun in small groups with great coaches.
Weekly Skills Clinics – A great next step for players ready to fine-tune their footwork, decision-making, and ball control. These fast-paced Tuesday evening sessions keep players active and engaged throughout the fall.
Goalkeeping School – Our specialized program for ages 7–15 helps aspiring goalkeepers build confidence between the posts. Led by experienced goalkeeper coaches, these weekly sessions blend technical drills with decision-making games and plenty of encouragement.
Pre-Travel U7 Program – For 2019 birth year players who are ready for a more advanced experience, our U7 program introduces them to the rhythm of team practices and real games in a development-focused setting. It’s the perfect bridge before joining our travel teams.
Challenge Level Program – Designed for 3rd–6th graders, this option combines weekly team practices with league play in the Metro Community League — ideal for players who want to step up their game without the full travel commitment.
From that first joyful kick in summer camp to the more structured learning in fall, every DC Way program is part of something bigger — helping your child stay active, build friendships, and grow as a player (and person!) year-round.
